Casey Tegreene is executive vice president and chief patent counsel at Intellectual Ventures where he focuses on a variety of projects relating to invention and innovation.
Prior to joining Intellectual Ventures in August 2003, Tegreene served as intellectual property counsel and chief technology officer for Microvision, Inc., a Seattle-based photonics company. Previously, Tegreene was associated with Cravath, Swaine and Moore in New York City and Seed & Berry in Seattle.
Before becoming a lawyer, Tegreene was a research engineer with Motorola, where he worked with emerging optical, acoustic, and microwave technologies. He currently holds 20 patents and is a named inventor on several others.
