Intellectual Ventures expanded their operations into Australia and New Zealand,  by opening an office in Sydney, Australia. The office has been introduced to collaborate with leading inventors, partner with pioneering companies, and invest both expertise and capital in the process of invention within Australia and New Zealand.

To date within Australia and New Zealand Intellectual Ventures has established agreements with three major Universities as well as agreements with many other individuals and companies. Striving to energize and streamline an invention economy that will drive innovation around the world, Intellectual Ventures provide all partner inventors’ access to detailed analysis describing the latest and most interesting global problems needing solutions.

Intellectual Ventures invests in the best of the several thousands of inventions received by funding further research and proof–of–concept, covering all the costs of gaining global protection, while sourcing the most appropriate global commercialization opportunities.
