Senior Vice President, Systems & Technology Group
Jim Wallace is the senior vice president of systems and technology for Intellectual Ventures (IV). Mr. Wallace is focused on aligning and guiding the organization through the systems architecture roadmap and delivering software solutions to support business operations. His responsibilities include application development, technology infrastructure and program management.
Prior to joining IV, Mr. Wallace was chief information and operations officer at Russell Investments where he was a key member of the executive, operating and risk management committees. Mr. Wallace was responsible for global information technology and investment operations, in which he led an organization staffed in four continents responsible for executing all technology and investment operation functions globally. Before joining Russell Investments, Mr. Wallace worked at NCR Corporation as the senior consultant. Prior to joining NCR, he was the vice president of branch systems at Smith Barney, Inc. in New York.
While at Russell Investments, Mr. Wallace served on the board of the Russell Trust Company and was honored by CIO Magazine in 2006 as a recipient of the CIO 100 Award for excellence in enterprise computing.
Mr. Wallace received his bachelor’s degree in business management from Hartwick College. He received his master’s certificate in project management from George Washington University and a master’s certificate in executive leadership from Seattle University.
